Hurricane Relief Efforts - Supplies/Donations Needed

Erin Prendergast

Hurricane Michael left a path of damage and destruction along the Florida Panhandle. Thousands of people were left without power and homes and buildings were destroyed, including caregivers working in our member nursing centers and assisted living facilities. Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) is asking for help with their relief efforts as they work to support the caregivers and residents in need.

FHCA has established a Hurricane Relief Fund through the Florida Health Care Education and Development Foundation, their 501c(3) tax exempt organization. The fund will benefit employees of FHCA member centers who were affected by Hurricane Michael. The goal is to assist as many of them as possible through donations. All donations received will go directly to those in need.
