Webinar: The Importance of Collaboration between Nurses and Environmental Services

August 21, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Nurses Association invite you to register for a free webinar to learn how collaboration between nurses and environmental services prevents and reduces the spread of healthcare-associated infections. The speakers will cover the application of standards, guidelines, best practices, and established processes in infection control.

Breaches in cleaning and disinfection practices in the healthcare settings can be a significant factor in the transmission of healthcare-associated infections. Preventing contamination between the environment and patients is critical to breaking the chain of infection.

This webinar is hosted by members of the Nursing Infection Control Education (NICE) Network, including the Oncology Nursing Society, the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration, and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
