Swallowing disorders- or dysphagia- continues to increase in clients served, often presenting multiple challenges to providers in implementation of effective intervention. Providers must know how to meet person centered client needs with “best practice” nutrition protocols and interventions. This session will present an overview of current best practice nutrition for swallowing disorders along with suggestions of how to apply these practically for daily use.
