ACA and Health Insurance Policies

Last week, the Obama administration announced that it would allow consumers to renew health insurance policies that did not comply with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) for two more years. This announcement is the latest in a series of ACA related policy changes, extensions and clarifications by the Administration. More details can be found in this article from the New York Times, and in this Roll Call article. In addition, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released a 2015 health policy standards fact sheet with more details. If you have any questions relating to the ACA, please submit them to insurancecoverage@ahca.org, and be sure to check out AHCA/NCAL's ACA website.
